The Saskatoon Health Region (SHR) is still $19.36 million in the red coming into the new fiscal year, and if nothing changes, that number could more than double.
The 2015-16 operating budget was approved Wednesday by the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority. It promises to fill in a projected $41.66 million status quo deficit with various cost reductions.
